WRC10で追加された新機能「ペイントエディタ」は、ユーザーが自由にマシンのカスタマイズを楽しむためのツールで、WRC、WRC2、WRC３、ジュニアWRCカテゴリーだけでなく、歴史的な名車の中からもベースとなるマシンを選択し、好きな外観をデザインすることができます。色、形、ステッカー、ロゴ、文字などの無限の組み合わせで自分らしさを表現したマシンは、通常のラリーだけでなく、キャリアモードでも使用できます。ゲームの発売以来、3万件以上のデザインが作成され、1900万以上のステージが走行されています。
