株式会社紀伊國屋書店（代表取締役社長 高井 昌史）は、オーストラリアのシドニー中心街に位置するショッピングセンターThe Galeries内の紀伊國屋書店シドニー店内に地元人気カフェBlack Star Pastryのポップアップ・パティスリーをオープン致します。ポップアップ・パティスリーのオープンは10月29日を予定しております。

名称：Black Star Pastry
営業時間：【月、火、水、金、土】10am-7pm 【木】10am-9pm 【日】11am-6pm
規模：約17坪（カフェ約20席）
Black Star Pastryはシドニー市南部に現在2店舗を構えるパティスリーです。2008年の創業以来、Time Out誌のベスト・パティスリーに選出されるなどの高い評価を得てきました。今回は、長く待ち望まれていたシドニー中心部への初出店となり、利便性が大きく高まることが期待されます。
ポップアップ・パティスリーでは、既存2店舗と同様に、ケーキ、コーヒー、パイなどを販売致します。Black Star Pastryの代名詞となっている「the Strawberry Watermelon Cake（いちごスイカケーキ）」についても、毎日調理場から直送致します。

Kinokuniya Book Stores of Australia Pty Ltd introduces a Pop-Up patisserie by Black Star Pastry, opening in the cafe space of Books Kinokuniya Sydney on 29th October.
Black Star Pastry is one of the most popular and highly-regarded patisseries in Sydney with two locations in Newtown and Rosebery. The opening of the Pop-Up patisserie at Books Kinokuniya in Sydney CBD will give customers easy access to Black Star’s range of delicious pastries, fantastic Little Marionette Coffee and, of course, the famous Strawberry Watermelon Cake.
The combination of Australia’s largest range of books and Sydney’s best pastries will further attract local communities to the bookstore. Books Kinokuniya will continue to offer unique experiences in our efforts to show that real bookstores still exist.
