Our desire to confect unprecedented dorayaki with a rich tea flavor drove us to create matcha dorayaki.
Shinchaen’s tea master, a professional connoisseur, once won the world tea-tasting competition in which tea makers vie over their tea making skills, based on the tea-leaf color and shape, and the color, aroma and taste of the tea. He challenged Japanese sweets making for the first time. After many trials and errors and a lot of research, our tea-master finally succeeded in creating our matcha dorayaki.
